Peter Gotch
Profile
Peter began his career in criminal Justice as a police officer in 1986. He served up until 2001 leaving as a sergeant. He has wide experience in the traffic department and criminal investigations which give him a particular advantage in Court. He knows how the police work and is able to use his experience to the advantage of his clients.
Peter is a self admitted petrol head. He has worked as a motorcycle instructor and has a class 1 driving pass. He became a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists at the age of 18. Recent cars he has owned include a Mustang GT and an Audi RS6. He is often out on his Harley Davidson Fat Bob.
Qualifications include a BSc Hons in Police Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law. After passing the Bar Court Peter was called to the Bar in 2005. He is a member of Lincolns Inn. Since that date he has worked in Criminal / Motoring defence both as a Solicitor and Barrister representing clients on a daily basis in Magistrates Courts and Crown Courts across the country
Peter sold his successful law firm in 2020 and now concentrates on his Public Access practice. This means that clients get a much more personalised service and have easy access to their advocate. Every client has Peter's mobile number and personal e-mail. 'Each case is fought like its our only case' says Peter, 'I know how important each case is to the clients. We will leave no stone unturned when preparing a case.
